Diamond-Pet-FoodsDiamond Pet Foods had an initiative to increase the comfort and air quality in their manufacturing areas. Firelake installed a Johnson Controls Facility Explorer system in multiple locations across the U.S. including California, Arkansas, South Carolina, and Missouri.  These systems were all connected back to a central server for monitoring and control in one location. Equipment on these projects include custom make-up air units used to provide fresh air to the processing plant.  The make-up air units were installed and programmed to provide fresh air and comfort to the space. With limited staff, Diamond Pet Foods can now manage facilities all across the U.S. from one location.

This project consisted of a large central plant and multiple air handlers that served the process areas and offices. FordFord Motors mandated that all of their facilities be controlled by the Tridium Niagara framework. When this project came out, Firelake was preferred to perform the work due to our knowledge of, and experience with, Tridium Niagara.  The project involved integrating several pieces of equipment to a Niagara system. This project was unique because Ford has set guidelines for naming, graphics, programming etc. Firelake successfully met Fords needs and standards.

FedEx-Ground-Hub-Expansion-01Firelake was contracted to design and perform the interlock wiring for the FedEx Hub located in Kansas City, Missouri. This project mainly consisted of high voltage interlock wiring to control ventilation and exhaust air. Firelake was brought in to design and oversee this process because of the complicated nature of the wiring configurations and relay logic.
