Junior Achievement is a program that focuses on increasing economic knowledge of youth in order to better prepare them for their future. The Kansas Junior Achievement program uses trained volunteers from local businesses to relay information to school aged children. Specifically, volunteers educate students in financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship. On Tuesday night, four nominees were inducted into the Lawrence Business Hall of Fame. These individuals were recognized for their business success, dedication to the Lawrence community, and for being positive role models to Junior Achievement students. We are proud to have supported and been part of this special night. Congratulations to the Laureate Class of 2016!
