Firelake works directly with DST on various projects including the headquarters facility and data center, back up data centers, and smaller data centers throughout the U.S.  Projects include controlling large central plants, controls for HVAC and electrical equipment such as generators, switch gear, and UPS and RPP monitoring.  Firelake has installed Johnson Controls Facility Explorer systems in over 15 locations for DST.  Our system has become a lifeline for DST to monitor facilities and to get notification in the event of an alarm.  Firelake currently holds service agreements with DST and continues to partner with them as their trusted advisor and controls contractor.

BryantThe Bryant Building is a 23 story high rise building located in downtown Kansas City, Missouri.  Firelake was contracted to provide and install a controls system for redundant cooling systems and generator systems. This consisted of multiple cooling towers and pumps to cool the data center load. The generator portion of the project consisted of integration to various electrical equipment such as generators, UPS’s, transfer switches, etc. The installed Johnson Controls Facility Explorer system is now a key system for operators to monitor and control the facility.

Arsalon---DataBankFirelake replaced an existing Staefe system with a Johnson Controls Facility Explorer system. This system is used to control all HVAC equipment as well as monitor data center equipment such as UPS’s, generators, RPPS, and Crac units. Enhanced custom dashboards created by Firelake’s graphic design team are displayed on large TVs in the NOC room and can be used as a sales tool for Data Bank.
