Firelake upgraded an existing Johnson Controls Metasys (Extended Architecture) to a Johnson Controls Facility Explorer system. This involved replacing the supervisory controllers and upgrading the entire user interface. The project also included adding 50 VAV boxes for a new tenant. Firelake has developed a great relationship with Assurant and continues to work with them.

Firelake installed and commissioned a Johnson Controls Facility Explorer system to control the buildings comfort and operations. The system integrates lab fume hoods, with supply and exhaust valves that properly monitor and control lab airflow and pressure. This facility is used to test the quality of fuel, so proper air flow and exhaust is critical for operations and safety.

Project consisted of multiple office buildings. The Property Management group needed a better way to manage their facility’s HVAC and lighting. Together Firelake and the property management group created a solution that was economical and met their needs. The project was funded through an energy company and depended heavily on the Building Automation System to achieve energy savings. Firelake replaced a pneumatic system at Wornell with Johnson Controls Facility Explorer. Wornell had an existing Johnson Controls Metasys System that was upgraded to Facility Explorer.

Gateway Towers is a multi-story office complex. Firelake was contracted to replace the existing controllers and add a web-based user interface. This work was done during normal working hours and had to be methodically executed in order to maintain comfort and operations. Mechanical equipment included multiple air handlers, chilled water plant, and hot water plant.

Westwood Plaza is a 4 story office complex consisting of over 50 VAV Boxes, multiple Air Handling Units, 2 Chiller and Boiler Plants. Firelake was contracted to retrofit the controls on existing equipment as well as control new equipment. This project also consisted of a critical lab area that has to maintain precise temperatures and humidity levels.
